We are not using the Leader Board in this and future Expos
During the live days, the system acts as a funnel to channel visitors to the booth for live, one on one, communications using a video chat system similar to Zoom. They system is called "Whereby.com" The visitor can select the person in the booth with whom he wishes to speak. Like Skype, this conversation can be video, audio, or text only. At this point, the vendor representative has to close the sale any way that is possible, including just taking the order, by phone if necessary, and entering it manually. This is what vendors have been doing for months under the social distancing guidelines from their home offices.
During the on-demand days, the chat function will allow sending a message to someone in your company who will follow up responses on the system. Close the orders the same way. If the visitor wants to "self-serve" then put a link on the menu bar that goes to your on-line store. Does your store have a "bot" that monitors on-line shopper for abandoning the shopping cart? The content section is the place where you list links to your videos on You-Tube or Vimeo. These videos are played on the platform and will not lead to other videos in succession. You can make your own videos, or find favorable un-boxing videos on You-Tube of your products and get permission to show these in your booth. Now you can easily make your own demonstration videos with your smart phone.
The Documents should be PDFs and loaded on the platform so that they can be collected by visitors in their "briefcase" to be emailed and downloaded later. Every document and video played is recorded as a transaction for the booth reports that are sent to vendors with medium and larger booths. These reports are warm leads and reflect what the booth visitor had an interest. The vFairs system is designed to have one common shopping cart that allows each vendor to load their SKUs. However, all of the transactions would go through KEG Media, Inc. first then dispersed to each individual vendor. We believe that almost all on-line vendors have their own shopping carts, so we are discouraging the use of the system cart.
Keep in mind that the system is designed to funnel in one on one connections between vendors and visitors. You will close your sales just like you have been doing for months social distancing. Close the sale with what ever means you have to book it and ship it. A: You will be notified when a visitor enters your booth through the "chat" button on the booth. It works very much like calling someone on Skype. You can engage with video or audio conferences or text chat. If the visitor has “opted in” during registration, then his/her details will be made available in booth visitor reports generated at the end of the live expo. The chat system is one-to-one. If you want to do a one to many demonstration, then you would use your company's zoom account and post the link on the booth.
A: The QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo will be "on-demand" for 30 days after the live event. You will be able to see all of the content during that time.
It begins at 0100 hours zulu (GMT) on Saturday August 8th, or 6:00 PM Pacific Time with Dr. Scott Wright, K0MD's keynote address. Exhibitors will come to the hall and the speaker presentations will start at 1500 Zulu on August 8th. Stay tuned to this website for more information.
It is the Arizona Painted Desert.
A: There are a total of 10 booth styles, that vary in size. When your graphics are loaded and your colors are initiated from an infinite color palate, then your booth will not look like anyone else's. Two booths of the same style, next to each other can look completely different.
